Once a name and address is entered once, it need never be typed again and can then be used to send letters. The Ombudsman keeps track of which cases are associated with each name. The user can view a list of the names of all individuals and organizations associated with a particular case, or all cases associated with a particular name. The type of relationship can be recorded, which allows preparation of status reports to referral sources. Referrals can be recorded, and reports of the status of referred cases and statistics on referral sources, including fees earned, can be printed.
