The Ombudsman prints nearly 100 different reports. Many of these provide information useful in managing a law office. The Staff Usage report, for example, shows what time records were created during a given date range for each staff member. The Referral statistics report shows where your cases (and fees) come from. The Status report shows the current status of all cases. The intake report shows how many new cases you opened per month during a range of months, and can be exported for use in a spreadsheet program. There are other reports showing all the information in almost any grouping. One of the most useful is a Case History report which includes all items related to a case. This serves as a useful summary for a hearing or client conference. Many other more generic reports are available, such as time sheets for preparation of fee petitions.
